Sam Vokes' Wycombe Wanderers Return: A Step In The Right Direction

Former Wycombe Wanderers striker Sam Vokes has returned to the club in a coaching capacity, just over a year after he departed Adams Park for Gillingham.
The Welsh forward was a popular figure during his four-season stay in South Bucks, where he scored 30 goals in 144 outings across all competitions, after joining the club from Stoke City in the summer of 2021.
He previously spent time working with the Wanderers coaching staff when he wasn't playing, most notably in January 2025, as he formed part of Sam Grace's unbeaten interim team which took over following the departure of Matt Bloomfield.
