Wycombe Wanderers made it three wins in seven days under interim head coach Tom Hounsell with a gritty 1-0 victory over Wigan Athletic.

The Chairboys have been on a roll following the departure of Michael Duff, winning their first game of the season away at Leyton Orient last Saturday, before following that up with a victory over Chelsea U21s on Tuesday evening.

They headed to the Brick Community Stadium on Saturday with the aim of making it three wins from three under Hounsell and back-to-back league victories for the first time since early March.

The Wanderers' interim boss opted to stick with his trusted back five, which was successful in his two previous matches, but instead opted to change his midfield and attack again, deploying a 5-4-1 from the get-go.
