It's certainly been quite the day for Wycombe Wanderers fans. It was announced by the club on Tuesday that Michael Duff had been dismissed from his role as head coach following a 'disappointing run of results since the spring', with the club starting the season with three draws and two losses, still in search of their first three points of the season and currently sitting second-bottom in the league.
With the club also stating in their announcement that an interim head coach would be named later on in the day, many fans believed it could have, or should have, been Sam Grace, who took charge for a total of four games from January to February of 2025 following the departure of Matt Bloomfield and won two of them, drawing the other two, so he was undefeated in his tenure.
