Wycombe Wanderers' league action continued after Tuesday's loss against Sheffield Wednesday, with Buckinghamshire rivals, MK Dons, making the trip down to Adams Park on Saturday.
With two draws and two losses in their opening four league matches, Wanderers looked to gain their first three points of the season against another winless MK Dons side, especially after looking promising against the current polesitters in midweek.
After Daniel Harvie's injury, it looked like Anders Hagelskjaer was set up at left-back, with Connor Taylor and Dan Casey at centre-back, and Sam Parker at right-back, as Captain Jack Grimmer was left out of the matchday squad.
