It doesn't take a genius to realise that Wycombe Wanderers are still in desperate need of a striker as the summer transfer window nears its conclusion.
So far, Michael Duff has added both Cauley Woodrow and Emre Tezgel to his front line alongside Bradley Fink, but recent displays have left plenty of supporters concerned as to where the goals will come from this season.
Tezgel is somewhat of an unknown quantity at League One level after a strong loan spell with Crewe Alexandra last term but hasn't hit the ground running in his competitive outings for the Chairboys so far.
However, some good news surfaced on the Wednesday after the Reading match, as it was revealed by Pete O'Rourke that Wanderers had submitted a bid for Exeter striker Jayden Wareham.
