Wycombe Wanderers concluded their pre-season schedule on Saturday with a narrow 2-1 defeat to Premier League side Ipswich Town at Adams Park.

New striker Emre Tezgel registered his first goal for the Chairboys when he turned home the rebound from Sam Parker's powerful strike.

However, a late double for ex-Wanderers star Cameron Humphreys condemned the Blues to a defeat in their final pre-season outing.

As Michael Duff said post-match, the result was far from important, with the focus mainly on getting minutes into players' legs before the first competitive fixture against Stevenage on Friday.
