Wycombe Wanderers remain in pursuit of a striker with less than 48 hours of the summer transfer window remaining.
Jayden Wareham of Exeter City is thought to be a priority target for the Chairboys after they had two bids knocked back by the Grecians.
The former Reading striker missed Exeter's clash with York City on Saturday and is expected to depart St James Park by 11pm on Tuesday.
