Wycombe Wanderers collected their much-awaited first victory of the 2026/27 campaign on Saturday, with an entertaining 3-2 triumph at Leyton Orient.
It had been a difficult week for the Chairboys, with head coach Michael Duff sacked on Tuesday and Tom Hounsell being placed in interim charge of the first team.
Wanderers then welcomed a new first-team coach, Andrew Joslin, on Friday, which caused some confusion given the lack of a head coach.
Regardless of the frustration at the situation, over 700 supporters made their way to the capital for the early kick-off to get behind the team, a journey they would be rewarded for.
