It was hard to imagine saying this on Saturday morning, but Wycombe Wanderers were completely shown up by League One rivals Exeter City in their FA Cup Second Round tie, with the Grecians running out 4-0 winners, in what was a firmly miserable afternoon to be a Chairboy.
It's now back-to-back defeats in all competitions for the first time under head coach Michael Duff, after Wanderers crashed out of the Vertu Trophy on Tuesday evening at the hands of Northampton Town, albeit with a rotated squad being fielded.
However, there is no such excuse for Saturday's result, as Duff selected what was pretty much on paper his strongest XI, which had been playing in most of the club's recent league fixtures.
