As much as we've been critical of the transfer business so far under the new ownership, it's important we balance it out and talk about some of the successful signings which have been made since Mikheil Lomtadze's takeover of the club in May 2024.

Whilst plenty have struggled during their time at the club thus far, there are still a few good examples of how good Wycombe's transfer business can be, and one of those is Dan Casey, who arrived from Motherwell on a free transfer in the summer.

The club's defence had pretty much been decimated from last season, with Sonny Bradley and Caleb Taylor returning to their parent clubs and not joining the Chairboys permanently, whilst Joe Low opted to turn down a new deal to sign for League One rivals Huddersfield Town.
