Wycombe's third bid of £1.3 million for Barnsley's Captain, Luca Connell, has been accepted, as reported by James Richings of Bucks Free Press. The offer was accepted this morning.

It seems Wycombe have finally been sucessful in their attempts to bring in the midfielder as a third bid of £1.3 million was accepted earlier today.

The former Bolton and Celtic man played a total of 109 times for Barnsley. Now, he will be making the switch from red to the light-dark blue quarters in what will be Wycombe's eighth summer signing, joining the likes of Mikki Van Sas and Bradley Fink in hopes to add strength to Wycombe's push to return to the second tier of English football.
