Wycombe Wanderers have recently had a bid in the region of €700k (£604k) rejected by Serbian Premier League side FK Zeleznicar Pancevo, The Quartermen have learned.
Reports emerged from The Lower Tiers on Monday that Wycombe were 'closing in' on the signing of the former Fulham youngster. Still, we have now learned that the club's initial bid in the €700k range has been 'flatly rejected' by Pancevo.
The Serbian outfit sits fifth in their respective division and has faced plenty of interest in Jasper over the last month from across Europe, with clubs in Germany and Turkey both submitting bids for the player, which were also turned away.
