Wycombe Wanderers have made a bid for Bristol Rovers centre-back Connor Taylor, who has been on the radar of fellow League One side Peterborough United this summer.

That's according to Football League World's Bristol Rovers correspondent Steve Hutson, who's said that the 23-year-old has been the subject of a bid from the Chairboys.

The bid is reportedly far below the club's valuation but 'player power has spoken'. It's unclear whether this means that Rovers have accepted the bid from Wycombe or not.

Taylor wasn't in Darrell Clarke's squad on Saturday to face Oxford United in pre-season, which sparked speculation on social media regarding his future, until it was announced by Hutson that a bid had been received.
