Christopher Reidy reported that the Chairboys are interested in highly rated Motherwell goalkeeper Calum Ward, who is also being chased by Scottish giants Celtic and Polish club Jagiellonia Bialystok.

The 25-year-old joined the Scottish side last summer from AC Oulu of the Finnish First Division; before then he had been at HIFK, also of Norway, and had a loan spell at Weymouth when he was on Bournemouth's books.

Ward has excelled up in Scotland, keeping 17 clean sheets in 29 games for Motherwell as they fight for the last European space in fourth place.

The goalkeeper is incredibly strong at his shot-stopping. He is top of the table for clean sheets kept; has the highest save percentage in the league at 75.8% (Will Norris manages 63.1%); has kept out 8.8 more goals than would have been expected (Norris has conceded 1.99 more goals than expected); and concedes just 0.9 goals per game (compared to Norris' 1.15 per game).
