With the news breaking of George Abbot's return to his parent club, Tottenham Hotspur and Ewan Henderson's injury keeping him on the side-lines for four to six weeks, along with Josh Scowen's continued absence since the closing stages of last campaign, the social media chatter as of recently has been around strengthening their ranks in the middle of the pitch and adding some much-needed depth to the squad, especially at a time where injuries are becoming a reoccurring thing for Wycombe Wanderers.

According to Richard Cawley who provided Charlton Athletic coverage on Substack, Wycombe are interested in signing midfielder Karoy Anderson on a loan deal for the rest of the season.
