Wycombe Wanderers are reported to be pursuing the signature of Chuks Aneke as reported by Neil Goulding at Sportsboom.
The ex Charlton Athletic striker was released in the summer after they gained promotion via the Play-offs. And Wycombe aren't the only team after his services. The Chairboys face competition from fellow League One side Burton Albion whilst Scottish Premiership side St Mirren have also expressed an interest in the 32 year old striker.
Aneke believe's he can still offer a lot at League One level and with the recent departure of Richard Kone, offers Mike Dodds an option ahead of the transfer deadline that shuts on Monday 1st September at 7pm.
