Scottish Premiership side, St Mirren are "set to sign" Shamal George from Wycombe Wanderers, according to Alan Nixon.

The 27 year-old keeper has only made a total of five appearances for the Chairboys, not including the pre-season friendlies played recently. One appearance included Wycombe's win against Championship side, Portsmouth, in the FA Cup, in which he was subbed off seven minutes into the game after sustaining an injury to his groin.

Journalist Nixon has now reported via his Patreon page that the Blues stopper is "set" to return to Scotland less than a year after moving to Buckinghamshire with Caolan Boyd-Munce's former club, St Mirren.
