It's that time again. Wycombe Wanderers social media descended into chaos at around midday on Sunday, when Bolton Wanderers announced their heavily-rotated lineup to take on Northampton Town which didn't include former Chairboy Aaron Morley.
His midfield colleague, John McAtee, who has also struggled for minutes this season and been linked with a move away in January was also missing from the squad, despite impressing in a cameo against Doncaster Rovers on New Year's Day.
Immediately, people started to connect the dots that maybe Morley's omission from Steven Schumacher's squad had something to do with an impending transfer away from the Toughsheet Community Stadium, as it seemed strange that both of these players who were linked with moves away from the club would be left out entirely having barely featured over the festive period.
