Say the line Bart. Elliot Watt has been a player on my radar for a significant period now, since at least 2023.
Fast forward to 2025 and nearly 2026, he's still a midfielder I've kept my eye on, and for good reason.
Wycombe still need a deep lying playmaker to replace Aaron Morley. Ewan Henderson has played well in the role injuries may be a concern, Luke Leahy is aging and his long term performance isn't guaranteed, while Jamie Mullins is technically and mentally gifted but not physically strong enough to play that deeper role just yet.
While Aaron Morley himself would doubtless be a popular signing in the position, we should look at Watt as a genuine option.
