With Wycombe Wanderers in the midst of a bit of a goal drought as of recently, with Bradley Fink and Cauley Woodrow not providing too much when it comes to putting the ball in the back of the net, there's no better time than when the January Transfer Window opens to bring in an experienced, consistent goal scorer who is familiar with the league.

Sam Smith, League One's joint third-highest goal-scorer last year, tied with Richard Kone and two others with 18 scored, could be exactly what Michael Duff and Wycombe need going into the New Year. A grand total of zero scored in the last four, Wanderers are in desperate need of someone who can consistently find the back of the net, and who overall is strong going forward, and Smith fits those standards perfectly.
