Wycombe Wanderers have announced the signing of Niall Huggins on loan from Premier League side, Sunderland.

The 24-year-old began his career at Leeds United in 2009 alongside Jack Clarke, graduating and signing a two-year scholarship with Leeds in 2017, before signing a year-long professional contract in 2019 which was extended until the 22-23 season. He made his professional debut in a 4-2 loss against Arsenal in 2021.

In August of that year, he joined Sunderland on a four-year deal, scoring his first goal in 2023 against Watford.

The fullback has also played for Wales at the U21 level and was called up to the senior team in November 2023.
