It's been nearly a week now since the first interest in Barnsley midfielder Luca Connell was reported by Mike Keegan, with the Chairboys reportedly having a six-figure bid rejected.
Since then, sources have informed The Quartermen that the Buckinghamshire outfit have made a second bid worth £1.2m, but these reports are unconfirmed, and it's unknown whether Barnsley have responded to the bid yet.
We understand that Wycombe remain highly interested in signing the 24-year-old midfielder, as they look to bolster, and already strong midfield of Magnus Westergaard, Caolan Boyd-Munce, and Luke Leahy.
