The widespread Wycombe Wanderers community was saddened to hear that W3 vice captain Danielle Puddefoot will miss the remainder of the 2025/26 season, after sustaining an ACL rupture, and a meniscus tear.

The Chairgirls have been in a rich vein of form, which saw them reach the first round proper of the Women's FA Cup, and thrash third tier Billericay Town to progress to the third round of the Isthmian Cup on Tuesday evening.

However, the sad news that their vice skipper would miss the rest of the season came as a bitter blow after the highs of Tuesday evening for the leaders of the Southern Region Premier Women's Football.
