Celtic are the latest club to express an interest in signing Richard Kone. News reported by Fraser Fletcher from Team Talk has suggested a move for the Ivorian striker will be subject to the future of current Bhoys striker Daizen Maeda. Maeda is interesting a host of Premier League clubs which include West Ham, Tottenham and Brentford.

Celtic currently value the Japanese International at £25 million and subject to any bids, would trigger a move for the Wycombe striker. Celtic have scouted the striker on three separate occasions last season and are aware of his potential. But any potential move for Kone could trigger a bidding war. Kone's suitors currently include Brentford, Crystal Palace, Toulouse(of France) and Royale Union Saint Gilloise(of Belgium).
