Bolton Wanderers midfielder Aaron Morley is set to depart the Lancashire club in January, having fallen out of favour under head coach Steven Schumacher.

The former Wycombe Wanderers loanee travelled to the home of his former club on Saturday with the Trotters, but wasn't named in the 18-man squad to face the Chairboys, and was depicted by James Richings warming up on his own pre-match.

Since then, it's now been revealed by Richings that the 25-year-old will be departing Bolton this winter, with a £500,000 price tag on his head for any potential suitors.

However, the Buckinghamshire club aren't currently leading the way for Morley, with League One rivals Luton Town in pole position to land the midfielder this January, having seen a bid turned down in the summer.
