It feels like only yesterday Wycombe Wanderers were fighting against high-spenders such as Birmingham City and Wrexham for the automatic promotion spots with Matt Bloomfield leading the team from the touchline.
Even though it didn't come to be, it proves that Wycombe could fight for promotion once again and hopefully one day, find themselves playing in the second tier of the English football pyramid.
Last year wasn't the only time Wanderers fought for promotion, the season after they were relegated, they made it all the way to Wembley, but lost against now Premier League side- Sunderland.
