Following two seasons with Bohemians FC of Ireland, where he became their youngest-ever goalscorer aged just 16 years old, he moved to Brighton, following in the footsteps of fellow Irish players such as Evan Ferguson and Aaron Connolly.
Whilst few may have expected much from the 21-year-old, he quietly put together a strong debut season in the EFL, being named one of the Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust's Players of the Season.
Yet, somewhat confusingly, in the winter window, Wycombe signed another 21-year-old attacking midfielder, but on loan for just six months.
Luke Harris was solid if unspectacular for Wycombe, getting two goals and two assists in 14 league outings, but his integration has cost Wycombe the game time of its most promising players.
